Frequently Asked Questions
What is coworking?
Coworking is a collective office community where independent workers, remote workers, and small businesses can share resources like expertly designed workspaces, meeting rooms, printers, fast internet, and—of course—coffee. Coworking allows individuals to pool resources as a community, to work in a great location and a friendly environment.
Who is The Village Works for?
The best way to find out is to join us for a tour. Contact us to schedule your visit.
The Village Works is for people who want to work near home, and for our neighbors looking for beautiful, modern meeting and event space. Our shared office space is designed for small businesses, independent workers, remote workers and entrepreneurs who live or work near Brookline, whether they’re looking for a part-time seat, access to professional meeting rooms, or an alternative to working from home.
Our coworkers include independent professionals like lawyers, graphic designers, coders, writers, composers, data scientists, consultants, and “information economy” workers of all stripes—as well as telecommuters who need a rock solid office to get their work done close to home.
