The Village Works is for people who want to work near home. We have coworking memberships, offices, and meeting spaces for lots of different users, both teams and individuals. We’re also here for our neighbors looking for beautiful, professional meeting and event space.
We expertly designed our shared office for individual hybrid workers and teams, startups, and small businesses who live or work near Brookline and Jamaica Plain. We have part-time offices, flexible coworking memberships, and a la carte services.
Our coworkers include small teams and independent professionals like designers, coders, writers, lawyers, data scientists, consultants, and “information economy” workers of all stripes—as well as telecommuters who need a rock solid office to get their work done close to home.
Do I need a membership to come to TVW?
Membership is our best user experience, but it’s not required! We invite you to try us out for a tour and free day.

What is coworking? Do I need my own desk?
Coworking is an office community where teams, independent workers, and individual remote workers can share resources like workspaces, meeting rooms, printers, fast internet, and—of course—coffee. Coworking allows individuals to pool resources as a community, to work in a great location and a friendly environment.
All our coworking is fully flexible: no assigned seats, no need for members to schedule work time in advance. Simply bring your laptop and pick the sunny seat that feels right for the day (or the hour)! We have monitors to borrow, fresh organic coffee and snacks to keep you going, and both Zoom-friendly and quiet work areas. When you need more privacy, you can book instantly in a sound-sealed phone pod or a beautiful meeting room.

Can I book meetings or events at The Village Works? What about after hours?

Where are you located?
The Village Works in Brookline Village is located at 202 Washington Street in Brookline. Our Jamaica Plain location is at 769 Centre Street in central JP.
Street and monthly parking is available in both locations. We’re close to central bus routes and the T plus Blue Bike stations.
